Commerce And Industry Minister To Inaugurate National Public Procurement Conclave

The 3rd edition of National Public Procurement Conclave (NPPC) is being organised by Government e-Marketplace (GeM) in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 5-6 December 2019 in New Delhi. The conclave will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Railways, Piyush Goyal.

Gem Signs Mou With Government Of Nct Delhi

Government e Marketplace (GeM) has entered into an MoU, with the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, in order to facilitate buyer organizations of Delhi towards a market-based procurement. Delhi has consistently been among the top buyers on GeM. The MoU will further expedite the harmonisation of the procurement guidelines of the two entities and integration of the systems, enabling seamless procuring experience.

MMTC Revenue from exports increased by 384%

Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India (MMTC) declared its financial results for the half year ended on 30th September, 2019. The company has achieved revenue from operations of Rs.13176 crore as against the revenue from operations of Rs.12511 crore during the corresponding period last year registering a growth of 5% over the same period last year.

Tobacco Board Receives 2019 Golden Leaf Award

Tobacco Board of India has been awarded the Golden Leaf Award in the Most Impressive Public Service Initiative category for the year 2019, for its efforts to initiate various sustainability (green) initiatives in Flue-Cured Virginia (FCV) tobacco cultivation in India. Executive Director of Tobacco Board, K. Sunitha, received the award at Tab Expo 2019 event in Amsterdam, The Netherlands yesterday.
