Over 90 Percent Refund Claims Disposed By CBIC

The Union Minster of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman said that during the second refund fortnight, Rs. 6,087 crore IGST refunds and Rs. 1, 548 crore ITC refunds were sanctioned by CBIC. Presenting the Union Budget 2019-20 in Parliament today, she said that in case of IGST refunds for goods exported out of India, the percentage of amount of refund claims disposed by CBIC is already more than 90%.

Call Centre Inaugurated In Mumbai DGFT

A call center has been set up by the Mumbai office of the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) to address doubts/queries/questions of exporters and importers. General information about foreign trade policy and international trade may also be asked. A specially trained dedicated staff is in charge at the call center. Public may reach the call center on 022-20820961, 022-20820962, 022-20820963 and 022-20820927 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm on all working days.
