• Providing information for inclusion in the “Reference India” publication of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
• Providing information for PIB Year-End Review.

• Preparation of monthly major achievements of the Department of Commerce for uploading to the Department’s website.
• Providing input and tendering advice to other Divisions on economic aspects of various proposals.
• Import Monitoring Cell:
• Monitoring and analysis of monthly commodity-wise and country-wise import data for surges and raising alerts to the concerned divisions of the DoC and Departments/ Ministries.
• To flag the consistently surge items of import for enhancing domestic capacity.
• Study the overall import basket through an annual position paper.
