Foreign Trade (Coordination) Section is responsible for handling the following issues:

• Issues referred to by other Ministries/ Departments on Initiatives, programmes and emerging issues not specific to any Division in Department of Commerce and requires coordination.
• Monitoring of weekly Senior Officers meeting with Commerce Secretary
• Oversee the consideration of appeals under The Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 by the Appellate Committee.
• Coordination of references received from various departments regarding the monthly summary of activities.
• Coordination of references received from various departments regarding the monthly summary of activities.
• Manage the grant of logo support from the Department for various export-oriented major events.

This Division is headed by the Additional Secretary and is being assisted by other support staff.
