- All administrative work relating to, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) and National Centre for Trade (NCTI).
- Release of grants to IIFT and IIP.
- Appointment/confirmation of Chief Executives of IIFT and IIP. Deputation/tour
- abroad of the Chief Executives of IIFT and IIP.
- VIP references, Grievances, RTI Matters, Parliament Questions and other Parliamentary matters;
- Laying of Annual reports in r/o IIFT & IIP on the table of both houses of Parliament.
